It is one of the most picturesque local trails with mountain paths, and cliff top views of Lake Superior and Lake Independence. Just a mile + to the south is access to the North Country National Scenic Trail. This 4,800 mile trail crosses through eight States, and is the longest scenic trail system in the U.S. The topography of the 80 acres is made up of high rugged terrain, with slopes and some outcrops of bedrock.
