Teresa Suarez

Hello! I'm happy to introduce myself to you. I specialize in rural properties in the northeast areas of Tennessee.  Over my full-time, lifetime real estate career of over 40 years, I have had the pleasure of serving multiple hundreds of families, helping them to buy and sell the real estate they came to love. My husband and I moved from Florida to this beautiful country in 2011. I fell in love with its stunning landscapes, four distinct seasons, and the peaceful, private lifestyle it offers. Naturally I wanted to help others reach their goals in this gorgeous land.

The properties I handle are typical of what most people are seeking--private, larger lands with exceptional views, in affordable price ranges, where a variety of qualities can be had all on one piece. A mix of some of these; mountain views, garden patches, creeks, ponds, river or lake front, fields and pastures for animals, and personally owned mountains for hunting, can often be found  in one's own piece of heaven.  Large properties, with or without housing, some manicured, or in service to animals, others which once were, but now need tending, and those that are entirely raw are obtainable. Most are near small, local towns just ten minutes away, or about an hour to Knoxville, Kingsport, Bristol, Gatlinburg, Dolly Wood and Pigeon Forge. Many people are drawn to this area to be self-sustaining on the land. Some seek housing on the right piece of property, while others choose to purchase large acreage, perhaps for recreation and with the intent to build sooner or later.

Through all of my years working in real estate, most of my buyers have been families who are moving in from far distant places. In NE Tennessee, most of my sellers are decedents of families who homesteaded these lands as far back as in the 1700's. The cultures and perspectives on both sides couldn't be more diverse.  Unusual circumstances can arise in rural work and every property is truly unique. I take my responsibilities seriously, walking the land, discovering its features, identifying its benefits, and noticing any issues that need to be presented or resolved. My work is much more involved than it is to show houses in the cities, which of course I also do. But I know this, though many people don't. Special skills are needed to do right by my clients in rural areas. I am well equipped to identify situations that need attention and to develop acceptable solutions before we get to a closing. If you'd like to add my skills to your confidence level in doing what is best for you, then please give me a call and we will begin your process. If you are thinking of selling or buying, I'd love to help you get from where you are to where you want to be. It will truly be my pleasure.
