A Napa Valley, California native, Robin is no stranger to country living or to the real estate industry, as her Mother has been an agent in the Valley for over 30 years. Her quest for adventure led her to over 7 years of residence in both Costa Rica and Panama where she graduated from the Latin American University of Science and Technology, Republic of Panama with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Spanish. While in Panama, Robin worked as Editor in Chief for a bilingual national publication and in International Marketing as a liaison between U.S. based companies and their Panamanian distributors. She also has several articles published in various Latin American magazines and she played an integral role in the growth of Women's Surfing in Latin America where she was also ranked #2 on the Panamanian Woman's National Tour for 3 consecutive years. After returning to the cold waters of San Francisco, Robin headed to the warm world class waves of the North Shore of Oahu where she began her Real Estate career with Choi International, Hawaii's #1 Real Estate Company, which specializes in luxury and beachfront properties. Known for her thoroughness, attention to detail, integrity, and market knowledge for an "active lifestyle" clientele, she was able to represent clients from all over the world with diverse interests and backgrounds. While very busy during her 5 year Real Estate career in Hawaii, Robin still managed to surf internationally in the warm waters of Tahiti, Indonesia, Fiji and Mexico. Upon returning to Napa Valley with Real Estate experience and strong ties to the community, Robin went on to obtain her California R.E. license. Robin is now working with her Mother, CeCe Short, for California Outdoor Properties who is affiliated with Cabela's Trophy Properties, and is still making her way to the beach from time to time.
