A 4th-generation farmer and proud descendant of pioneer settlers who arrived in Pasco via the Oregon Trail in 1884, Flo’s roots run deep in this land — and so does her knowledge.

FAMILY: Flo has a blended family of 4 children with her late husband with, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Additionally, she is the responsible care facilitator for my 97-year-old mother who still lives alone and is blind! The family is spread around the US with some in the military. Flo is 2nd of 12 children with only 2 boys in the family. Sooo... she became the number one son! That spawned her passion for farming and the farm way of life.
HOBBIES: Flo is an avid collector of cast iron implement seats (often referred to as 'tractor seats'). Her collection is over 700 different seats from around the world. She is a member of the Cast Iron Seat Collectors Assn and served for 10 years on their BOD. She also quilts and has completed over 75 quilts since 2015. her passion for quilts is sharing them with others. She donates a full quilt every year to the RLI "Cowboy Auction" which benefits the Land Education Foundation. Nearly all her quilts are either given away as gifts or donated for fund raisers. In addition to these passions, she travels around the US in her motorhome, visiting with her friends and family and other hobbyists she has met along the way. She is also an accomplished wood turner, making items from all kinds of wood. Her favorite wood is 'FOG' wood (found on the ground)! If you are fortunate enough to visit her you will likely go home with something she has made! She loves to fish and will pack a box of lunch and buy some fuel for anyone who offers her a chance to go fishing! Favorite fish?... walleye or Alaskan salmon and halibut.
