My name is Christopher Ryan Carney Sr. and everyone calls me Chris. I am married to my beautiful wife, Jessica and was born and raised in Mississippi, but since I was 16 my heart has been in love with this beautiful state of Missouri. I am proud to now be a resident of this great state and call Poplar Bluff my home. I’ve been fortunate enough to do some traveling in my life and still never ran across a place as fascinating as it is here. Oilfields were my career for over 15 years and in that time, I worked in the Gulf of Mexico, South of Texas, Louisiana, and as far north as North Dakota.
My father taught me from a young age on how to be a conservationist and love the land and to this day it always intrigues me. I cut my teeth walking them swampy river bottoms in Mississippi hunting anything you could hunt which brought me a passion for bow hunting big bucks. I invented and patented trophy tape that you may have seen on the shelves in almost every sporting goods store that Wildgame Innovation sells. I now want to share my passion for the outdoors and the lifestyle I love with the families of Missouri! I am proud to be working with the incredible team at Living the Dream family.
