 The gem of the property, Plumb Brook, a classified, stocked, trout stream, originates from lands to the south, including the Orebed Creek and Silver Hill State Forests.  Feeder streams along the way contribute to its width and depth, with it eventually passing along the western border of the property.  North of the property the stream proceeds through Whippoorwill Corners State Forest before reaching its destination in the Grass River, just east of Russell.  The Grass River meets the St. Lawrence River, just a few miles east of Massena.
