Tim feels very blessed to have found the Pacific Northwest and the abundance and beauty it holds. From the soaring peaks of the North Cascade Mountains to the rich vineyards and orchards of the Columbia Basin and Lake Chelan to the numerous cattle and equestrian ranches located throughout the area, Washington State truly is God’s Country.
As a young man Tim grew up in a small village in the east surrounded by farms and ranches growing cash crops and raising beef and dairy cattle. Growing up working on farms he learned not only the value of hard work but working smart as well. Being good stewards of the land and reinvesting in quality renewable resources was ingrained at a very early age.
After serving in the Navy, he graduated college with a degree in Business majoring in Accounting & Marketing. He went on to become a successful accountant and later vice president marketing & business development with one of the nation’s largest investment fund companies. Although he was very successful in business his true passion was farming, ranching and recreational lands.
He left Corporate America and purchased an abandoned property on a lake in Northern Canada and together with his family built a very successful fishing lodge and guest ranch operation. Working in the “people industry” taught Tim the value of relationships and how to nurture and respect that. His lodge and ranch operation went on to serve 400 clients annually from around the world with a large percentage of that being repeat business.
Tim developed a very serious “Quest for the West” at a young age and always wanted to be part of the Rocky Mountain’s since first visiting them at the age of 12. He followed through with his dream and purchased a 170,000 acre Guide Outfitting Territory in British Columbia up near the Yukon border. He purchased the rig from an old outfitter who spoke of being a true steward of the land and how every man should have his own valley in the wilderness to nurture and care for. Tim followed the old outfitters ways and ran a very successful guiding business packing horses deep into the Rocky Mountains in search of elusive big game and remote mountain glacier lakes filled with trout.
After retiring from the outfitter business, Tim moved into Real Estate and started a very successful real estate practice in Arizona and later Washington State specializing in Ranch, Farm, Vineyards/Orchards and Recreational Properties. Being a proud member of the Land and Wildlife Team and its exclusive partnership with Land Leader was a natural fit for him. You will find Tim a welcome addition to your team as he will share in your dreams and plans for success. You will find his passion contagious and will appreciate his business savvy when it comes to growing your business or finding your dream property. He currently calls the beautiful Methow Valley home where he resides in his log home along the river fly fishing and raising horses. He and his wife are Life Members of the Dallas Safari Club and Safari Club International as well as various other industry associations in Washington State.
