Scott Ulch

Scott Ulch grew up on his family's cattle ranch just outside of Susanville California, the son of a pioneer family that has been in Lassen and Plumas Counties for 5 generations. Growing up, Scott loved the outdoors, ranching, logging, hunting and fishing. After graduating from Lassen High School he went to work for the U.S. Forest Service as a firefighter in the summers and attended Lassen Community College in the winters. After college Scott and his wife, Patricia, ran the family ranch and raised Angus cattle and seven beautiful daughters, the youngest of which was Miss Rodeo America 2005. Along with the ranch, the Ulch's were also general partners for many years in Diamond Mountain Resources, a forestry company. Through Scott's ranching and forestry ventures he got to know the land and people of most of northeastern California. Scott enjoys getting involved in many community organizations including the Worlds Richest Rodeo in Reno.Email Scott: scottulch@sbcglobal.net
