Lon reported to me in my role as the department’s manager for Texas in Investor Real Estate of Capital One Bank, in Houston, Texas. Lon served as Vice President, managing relationships of more than 30 bankers in the Houston, Austin, and San Antonio market areas. Lon was an invaluable asset to our department in our role providing financing for commercial real estate projects during a period of time that proved to be the final months of a lengthy real estate boom in the country.
