Charlie Engs was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. With the influence of his mother and father, Charlie grew up fishing and hunting throughout Nevada and Northern California. After attending The Cate High School in Carpinteria, CA, he was recruited and enrolled at The University of California at Berkeley where he played soccer for 4 years. He graduated CAL in 1993.Charlie lives in Orinda, CA, with his wife and 3 children. Currently, Charlie is managing partner of Honcut Creek Ranch, a 2500 acre rice ranch located near Marysville, CA. In addition, he is president of Ramirez Water District.Charlie is an avid outdoorsman who loves to hunt and fish.
