Description

Remote 12 +/- acre wooded lot in the southern Vermont town of Halifax, just over the Mass border. The lot is surrounded by stone

walls and gracefully slopes to the east. Potential hill views to the east (Was raining and overcast, but we could still make them out). Mature woods

containing large diameter red and white oak, beach, hickory and white pine. Lots of nuts and acorns were present with plenty of deer and turkey sign,

would be an excellent hunting property - with long woods shots possible. Access is by Town road and Town trails. Trees are down on some of the roads,

and one section is blown out by a beaver dam, currently unpassable by car or truck. These roads are unmaintained by the town and use or improvement is

at the landowner’s expense, you will see where ATV’ers have cut out blockages. Multiple ways into the property and most of it is VAST snowmobile trails in

the winter. Completely off-grid with no grid power possible. Best to park and walk in until you figure out the road system yourself. Property is a little gem

once you get there. GPS will not lead to property, please read directions.
